  • ... and more!

So without further ado, let’s delve into some intriguing updates that have happened recently (we will have updates for the week starting next week):

  • Now interact using voice or images 🗣️🖼️. The voice feature, with five realistic audio tones, is exclusive to iOS and Android users with a ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise subscription.

  • Image interactions are open for ChatGPT Plus subscribers across all platforms.

  • Having tried both, these are going to be game changers! Imagine planning meals by simply showing ChatGPT pictures of what you have in your fridge and having a natural conversation to nail down a recipe.

  • Meta is changing how we interact online with a slew of AI-powered features across its apps 📲. Highlights include AI Stickers, Image Editing on Instagram, and a conversational assistant—Meta AI.

  • Engage with 28 quirky AI characters on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, with voice interactions launching in 2024!

  • The AI characters are very interesting, given how opinionated they are. It will be very cool when these have voice capabilities.

  • Unveiled in New York, Microsoft Copilot is set to enhance your day-to-day digital tasks with over 150 AI-driven features across apps like Paint, Photos, Clipchamp, and more 🎨📸.

  • Noteworthy upgrades include AI-boosted drawing in Paint, powered by OpenAI’s DALL.E 3 model, and Microsoft 365 Copilot bringing AI magic to Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

  • DALL.E 3, in particular, is a huge step up from DALL.E 2. Getting text to render correctly is definitely one of its biggest improvements.

Prompt of the Week:

Engage with ChatGPT or Bard in a mock interview setup. Here’s your prompt:

"I want you to act as an interviewer for {insert position here} position. I will be the candidate and you will ask me interview questions. Please ask the interview questions and wait for my answers. Do not write any explanations or all of the conversation at once. You will ask questions one by one like an interviewer does and wait for my answers. My first sentence is "Hello!"

Project Idea:

Build a clone of ChatGPT using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is a beginner-intermediate project for web developers that has you create a web application that looks similar to ChatGPT. You'll get to work with the OpenAI API and understand how that process of sending and receiving data works. Try using ChatGPT or this tutorial from Code with Ania Kubów to help with the coding:

Your curiosity fuels this journey into the AI landscape. If this piques your interest, feel free to share it with friends who’d appreciate a weekly dose of AI insights 🔄. Until next Sunday!

Warm regards,

- Kharee
